1. Registering
New customers
New customers must register on the PCs marked «New customer check-in».
Customers who have ordered online, or have been registered with us for the past two years, can go directly to the next station.
Register everyone who will be renting equipment so that we get the right price range and the right rental equipment for each person.
2. Shoes
Previous rental customers and those who have booked online can go straight to the station called «Boots». Here you can tell us which type of boot (Alpine/Snowboard/Cross-country/mountain ski) you need and what size you need. When ordering online, we can scan the barcode on the order to find the right shoe. (It's usually easier to just say the shoe size).
It is recommended that at least one shoe is tested and strapped as you will use it on the ground to approve it before the next step.
Optimal fit is when your toes barely touch the front of the shoe when you stand up straight with your shoes fastened. For a «perfect» shoe, the toes should hit the front when you step down in an unbuckled shoe, but when you tighten the shoe, the foot slides back a little so that you can barely feel the tip - if you lean forward with a buckled shoe and get resistance in the calf, the foot slides further back without the heel lifting noticeably. The usual alpine position is with a bend in the knee and leaning forward, and the heel should preferably not be able to be lifted when you lean forward.
3. Ski rental
When ordering online
When you book online, we only need to scan the barcode for your ski rental (at the time of booking) and we'll quickly find the right equipment for you.
Without online ordering
If you haven't ordered online, we need you to enter:
What type of equipment you want (Alpine / Snowboard / Cross-country / Mountain ski)
Slate diligence (Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced / Advanced+)
Height in cm
Weight in kg
Here we register all your equipment and you pay before you proceed to delivery.
4. On the way out
Pick up your poles, helmet and other equipment that is registered at the ski rental station. Then just enjoy your skiing holiday 🙂
During the ski holiday
Keep track of the equipment during the ski rental, it is your own responsibility to take care of it, it is recommended to take pictures of the barcode on the skis and equipment to have an overview.
Please only use the skis on snow, by actively driving over gravel roads/rocks you create scratches on the skis that damage our equipment and furthermore your skiing experience.
The equipment is inspected after delivery
Returns
Deliver this at the station marked «Return»:
Boots (re-tension all tensioners - see picture below!)
Ski (seen in pairs in the return rack)
Helmets
Back rails
Staver: Hang in the right place according to length in the marked racks.
Why buckle your boots again?
Important: Report damage/defects in the counter when you deliver. Late delivery = new daily rent.
