Purchase terms and right of withdrawal
Version 3 · effective from 20/09/2026 · Correct legal entity named as contracting party (Trysil Skishop Eiendom AS for rental/workshop/delivery; Trysil Sportshop AS for shop goods, used sales and gift cards).
These purchase terms apply to goods and services bought in our webshop and booking flow. Equipment rental is governed by our separate rental terms.
1. Who you are buying from
- Ski service, workshop and rental-related services: Trysil Skishop Eiendom AS, Vestmovegen 24, NO-2420 Trysil, Norway. Company no. NO 981 443 489. Phone +47 91 92 92 91. Email info@skishop.no.
- Shop goods (sports equipment, clothing, accessories): Trysil Sportshop AS, Vestmovegen 24, NO-2420 Trysil, Norway. Company no. NO 914 141 656. Phone +47 91 92 92 91. Email info@skishop.no.
Your order confirmation and receipt state which company is the seller for your order.
2. Order and agreement
The agreement is concluded when you complete your order and we confirm it by email. The confirmation lists what you bought, the price and the selling company. We store the order together with the version of these terms that applied when you ordered.
You must be 18 to buy on your own. If you are under 18, a guardian must place the order.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are in Norwegian kroner and include VAT. Shipping or delivery, if any, is added and shown before you pay.
Payment is made at the time of ordering through our payment provider. We do not store your card number.
If a price is obviously wrong – for example a typing error you should have understood was not real – we are not bound by it. We will contact you, offer the correct price, and you may cancel. If you cancel, the full amount is refunded.
A gift card is used when ordering at skishop.no. The gift card is deducted from the amount due after the total has been set, and the remainder is paid by card. Partial use is possible, and any remaining balance stays on the card until it is used up or expires.
4. Right of withdrawal
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act for online purchases.
Goods: The period starts on the day you receive the item. Notify us within the deadline, for example using the withdrawal form or an email to info@skishop.no. The item must be returned in the same condition, and you pay the return cost unless otherwise agreed. We refund within 14 days of receiving the item or proof that it has been sent.
Services (including ski service): The right of withdrawal does not apply to a service that has been completed, where the work began with your express consent and you acknowledged that the right of withdrawal is lost once the service is complete. When you order ski service, you consent to us starting the work before the 14-day period expires, and you accept that the right of withdrawal lapses when the work is finished. If you withdraw before the work is complete, you pay for the part already performed.
The Norwegian Consumer Authority's withdrawal form is available on our website and is sent with the order confirmation.
5. Ski service in particular
- The date you hand in your equipment is a drop-off date, not a promised completion date.
- Indicative processing time when capacity allows: base grind or full service approx. 1 hour, with IR waxing approx. 1.5 hours, machine waxing approx. 10 minutes. Busy periods take longer.
- Season storage and ski hotel have no completion time: the service is carried out in November, before the winter season.
- Timing for race preparation is agreed separately.
- Full service includes filling of gouges before grinding.
- Standard edge angles are 88° side edge and 1° base bevel. Other angles cost NOK 150 per pair.
- Equipment not collected within reasonable time after we have reported it ready may be stored at your expense. We contact you before taking any action.
6. Delivery and collection
Goods and finished service are collected in our shop at Vestmovegen 24 in Trysil unless otherwise agreed. For delivery, the time and address stated on the order apply.
7. Complaints
If something is wrong with the goods or the service, the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act applies. You must complain within reasonable time after you discovered or should have discovered the fault, and no later than two years after taking over the item. For items intended to last considerably longer, the deadline is five years.
Contact us at info@skishop.no or +47 91 92 92 91 and state your order number. For a justified complaint we repair, replace, reduce the price or cancel the purchase in line with the law. Necessary costs of the complaint are covered.
8. Refunds
Refunds are paid back to the same payment method you used, unless otherwise agreed. Gift cards are refunded as gift cards.
9. Personal data
We process personal data as described in our privacy policy. The data is used to fulfil your order, meet legal obligations and provide customer service.
10. Complaints and disputes
Please contact us first – most cases are resolved quickly. If we cannot agree, you may complain to the Norwegian Consumer Authority, which mediates. If the case is not resolved there, it can be brought before the Norwegian Consumer Disputes Commission.
11. Governing law
The agreement is governed by Norwegian law. Mandatory consumer rights apply regardless of what is stated here.
